ITIL 4 Foundation Training and Certification

Following the completion of the course participants should be able to:

• Understand how the ITIL guiding principles can help an organisation to adopt and adapt service management
• Understand the four dimensions of service management
• Understand the purpose and components of the ITIL Service Value System
• Understand the activities of the Service Value Chain, and how they interconnect
• Know the purpose and terms of the 15 ITIL practices
• Understand 7 ITIL practices
• Pass the ITIL 4 Foundation exam

• Individuals at the start of their journey in Service Management
• ITSM Managers and aspiring ITSM Managers
• Individuals working in other parts of “IT” (digital, product, development) with strong interface with service delivery
• Existing ITIL qualification holders wishing to update their knowledge.

• 1 hour (75 minutes for non-native speakers)

• Objective Test Questions
• 65% pass mark
• Closed book

Upon successful completion of the exam and following confirmation of the results, the participants will receive a unique, secure and auditable electronic certificate from PeopleCert.

The ITIL Foundation certification is mandatory to access the further ITIL 4 modules which require candidates’ ability to apply the ITIL framework key concepts in a working environment.

It is desirable, but not essential, that participants have some experience in IT Service management. Some pre-read material is provided prior to the training and is expected to be fully read before attending the course.
