PMP Certification: Training and Exam PMI
Project Management Professional (PMP) is addressed to the post of Project Manager and it’s the best known and the most esteemed title for the profession of Project Management worldwide.
PMP certification shows that you have experience, education and competence to manage projects and guarantees your abilities in managing and coordinating project teams.
PMP Course
Six days-PMP course is designed to prepare the candidate to the practice test, both through the study of body of knowledge identified by Project Management Institute (PMI) and practical exercises.
The course is aligned with the Sixth Edition of the Project Management Body of Knowledge guide (PMBoK®) and allows students to obtain training credits to access at the PMI exam.
PMP Objectives
Following the completion of the course participants should:
- Apply the methodological and organizational tools for the planning and management of the processes that involve the project management team and the company during the life cycle of complex projects according to international standards of the PMI
- Be well prepared for passing the PMP exam

PMP Prerequisites
In order to access the examination with the Project Management Institute, you must complete 35 hours of training in project management (our preparation course will give you 42 credits / contact hours) and demonstrate working experience in project management:
- for whom has university degree, you must accomplish working experience in project management for at least 4.500 hours in the time of 3 years.
- for whom has secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or the global equivalent) you must accomplish working experience in project management for at least 7.500 hours in the time of 5 years.
PMP Exam
PMP exam is based on PMBok. The test characteristics are:
- 4 hours
- 200 questions
- Multiple choice
Exam must be booked directly with the SME and it’s not included in the course cost.
Exam focuses on the five project management processes in the following proportions:
- Startup Processes: 13%
- Planning Processes: 24%
- Execution Processes: 31%
- Monitoring and Control Processes: 25%
- Closing Processes: 7%
Beyond attending the course, it’s required an individual study of about 120 hours to pass the exam.
