ITIL (Version 5) Bridge Course

The ITIL (version 5) Bridge course is designed for ITIL 4 certified professionals who need to transition to the latest ITIL Foundation (Version 5) certification.

The training updates participants on the new ITIL framework, key concepts, and practices, ensuring they understand the evolution of ITIL and its application in modern IT-enabled services.

The ITIL (version 5) Bridge course helps experienced ITIL practitioners align their existing knowledge with the latest version of the framework and its updated guidance.

Objectives

Following the completion of the course participants should be able to:

Understand the key updates introduced in ITIL Foundation (Version 5)
Identify the differences between ITIL 4 and ITIL Foundation (Version 5)
Understand the latest ITIL concepts, terminology, and service management practices
Apply updated ITIL guidance to modern IT-enabled services and organisational contexts
Align existing ITIL knowledge with the new ITIL Foundation (Version 5) framework
Prepare for the ITIL Foundation (Version 5) certification exam

Existing ITIL qualification holders wishing to update their knowledge.

Upon successful completion of the exam and following confirmation of the results, the participants will receive a unique, secure and auditable electronic certificate from PeopleCert.

The certification ITIL Foundation (Version 5) is mandatory to access the further ITIL modules. These require candidates’ ability to apply the ITIL framework key concepts in a working environment.

To participate in the ITIL (Version 5) Bridge course, candidates must hold a valid ITIL 4 Foundation certification. Prior to the training, participants will receive pre-course reading material, which is expected to be completed before attending the course.
